Associate or Vice President, depending on experience recruitment

This will include, among other duties, solicitation of institutional investors; distribution of alternative investment fund offerings; and the coordination of and participation in investor road-show meetings and follow-up.

The firm’s typical fund marketing assignments range from $250 million to $1.5 billion in targeted fund size.  Fortress has been placement agent on $6 billion in successful fund raises during the past seven years.  Current activities include placement services for more than $2 billion in targeted fund raises.

Responsibilities will include:

• Communication with institutional investors to discuss portfolio objectives and introduce the firm’s fund offerings.

• Arranging and participating with fund managers in investor road-show presentations.

• Follow-up communications and support of investor due diligence requests and inquiries.

• Coordination of efforts with the firm’s principals as well as research and due diligence staff.

• Assist with the preparation of offering memoranda, investor presentations, and due diligence materials.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years financial sales experience in institutional sales or investor relations.

• Excellent sales skills, verbal and written communication skills, and research skills required.

• Ability to operate in a high pressure, entrepreneurial environment and to show initiative and self-direction.

• MBA or CFA preferred, but not required.

• New hires that do not hold applicable securities licenses (i.e., Series 79, Series 63) will be required to obtain them after employment begins.
