Associate – Portfolio Management Reporting & Analytics recruitment
Job Description
Responsible for all management reporting and analytics within MetLife’s Portfolio Management Unit. Information delivery will need to be advanced through the development and usage of business intelligence tools. Significant business interaction with Portfolio managers and individuals from Treasury, Finance, Operations and Technology and Asset Sectors.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop portfolio data and performance reporting both on an ad hoc and routine basis to support the portfolio manager’s investment and strategy decisions.
- Individual will need to have understanding of market factors and business strategies to articulate all information and reported results.
- This role requires a strong understanding of business intelligence tools to work closely with the Front Office and Executive Operations to meet their daily reporting needs.
- Respond to and fulfill ad hoc queries from Portfolio managers, Lines of Business, and Front Office in an efficient, thorough, effective manner
- Promote change and continuous improvement in processes and data delivery
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, CPA or CFA preferred
- Seven to Ten Years experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc.) skills
- Strong analytic, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with fixed income investment products
Dimensions:
A firm understanding of reporting requirements, data architecture efficiency and business intelligence tools are necessary to deliver information efficiently to customer units.
