Associate Portfolio Manager, Equities recruitment
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the team that generates investment ideas for Equities (including emerging global equities). He / She will also be involved with the placement of substantial program trades with major brokerage firms and the monitoring and evaluation of brokers and trade executions. Advising and supporting the portfolio manager in the areas of portfolio benchmarking, tracking and reporting will also be part of the work scope.
Required Qualifications, Experience Competencies :
• Outstanding grades in a quantitative degree from a recognised institution. Post-graduate qualifications (CFA) will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as a junior portfolio manager with an asset manager, focusing on Equities
• Excellent communication skills, a dynamic individual with good energy levels; collaborative team player.
