About our Client
Our client is a global private equity firm with a history of over 20 years. The firm has found success by creating value in the companies they invest in and acting as either business partners or playing significant management roles. They engage in value growth investments (USD30m-50m equity checks with a holding period of 5+ years) in a variety of industry sectors.
Job Description
- Assisting with all stages of due diligence including financial modeling, market competitive analysis, and conducting primary secondary research.
- Supporting existing portfolio company investments through ongoing analysis and review with other investment professionals in the firm.
- Developing rigorous financial models and sensitivity analysis.
- Preparing presentation materials to support investment recommendations or synthesizing key research finding to important stakeholders.
- Maintaining updated operating and financial information for each of the firm's portfolio companies, including: capital structure, financial projections, etc.
- Supporting the execution of deals including external coordination with portfolio company constituents.
- Managing ad hoc research projects per the priorities of the firm.
The Successful Applicant
- Undergraduate degree from a leading local institution, MBA preferred, with a demonstrated record of academic achievement.
- 5+ years experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or private equity firms
- Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to perform complex financial modeling in Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (Mandarin and English) with capacity and experience to translate research findings into compelling Power point presentations.
- Ability to work independently and productively, and thrive in a loosely-structured environment
- Professional attitude and service orientation; team player
- High energy, self-starter with strong work ethic
