Associate Process Engineer II (Mining) Job in Dublin, California Us
The following duties and skills are required:
- Skills in presentation, technical writing for mining metals projects, customer relations, and negotiating
- Technical expertise in mining and metallurgical process engineering applications (specially Copper, Nickel, Cobalt, Gold, Aluminum, Iron, Molybdenum and various minerals), technology, safety, health, and environmental services
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams for Mining Metals Project
- Develop mass and energy balances
- Work with various engineering disciplines to develop equipment list
- Develop and help develop PID’s
- Carry out process calculations and work with MM related softwares
- Develop specs and process data sheets
- Carry out pipes and pump calculations
- Prepare schedules, design basis, and progress reports
- Fluid mechanics and hydraulic calculations
- Chemical reactions and equations
- Metals processing
- Scribe for Process HAZOP Review (PHR)
- Be able to work well with and communicate with other Discipline Leads
- Develop and /or help develop process plant commissioning plans and participate in the commissioning as required
- Develop and help develop capital operating costs for the mining metals projects
- Develop and help develop project proposals for the mining metals clients. Develop PowerPoint materials and/or participate in live presentations to the clients
