Associate Product Controller recruitment

ANZ Global Markets division is responsible for the sales, trading and treasury activities of the bank. The broad categories of products covered are Rates, Currency, Structured Products, Credit and Equities.

Being a part of the Markets Finance Asia, International and Institutional Banking team, you will be accountable for financial and regulatory reporting, budgeting and forecasting for Global Markets APEA (Asia, Pacific Europe and America). This will include daily reporting of the desks PL including PL attribution and analysis of unusual movements; review of new products and system testing as well as assisting with as hoc requests such as tax and risk reviews.

This role will demand a flexible approach, ability to collaborate and influence people to drive successful outcomes. You will have daily interaction with traders, Markets Finance (Australia and Asia) and Finance Treasury in Singapore which will require you to work with a variety of personalities. A strong work ethic and attention to detail is a must.

Qualifications:

The success candidate must have at least 5 years work experience gained in financial services, or the big four accounting firms. Ideally you will have a sound working knowledge of financial processes, including accounting/valuation of financial instruments as well as 2 years experience with product control. This role is pivotal to the team and hence requires you to be well-organised and a self-starter to enable you to manage a range of competing priorities and projects.
