Associate Product Manager
Position Overview:
Assists Product Manager at Developing and managing product line strategies for assigned product line portfolio. Directs generational evolution or VA/VE activities in line with continues process improvement activities. Leads cross functional teams to develop new products in line with product technology roadmaps to achieve cost targets, revenue and profitability expectations. Responsible to drive demand creation in conjunction with the commercial teams globally. Assists with the new product introduction into the market place. Assess competitive position of the product offerings and directs investment to achieve best in class cost and feature position for product lines under management. Provides market, competitive and customer intelligence to the global sales and marketing teams in support of long-term strategy and tactical plans. In harmony with Operational team drives decisions on manufacturing site location, capacity expansion and other critical metrics (quality, delivery, etc).
