This position is located in our NJ, Atlantic City facility

Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages.

1. Performs routine programming activities according to project specifications.
2. Participates in the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance of computer programs.
3. Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements.
4. Troubleshoots various software products to determine source of errors.
5. Participates in the writing and updating of various technical documentation such as users manuals, product specifications, and training materials.
6. Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
7. Participates in special projects as required.

Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

0-2 years of directly related computer programming experience.

We have a request for personnel to support the flight simulator in the NIEC laboratory. Experience as a pilot is required, though the candidate does not have to hold a current pilot's license. The ideal candidate would also have a background in C, C++, and the use of Microsoft Flight Simulator software. We envision this position to be a Technical Profession II, however, other labor categories and/or skill levels will be considered providing the candidate meets the requisite experience.
