Our client, Eastdil Secured, a Wells Fargo subsidiary, is a real estate investment banking firm that provides its clients with transactional services focusing on the recapitalization of real estate assets. Eastdil Secured designs capital market strategies and structures for real estate owners and serves as an intermediary on their behalf.
Eastdil Secured specializes in institutional property sales, large property financings, sale of existing mortgages, hotel sales and financings, debt placement in the secondary market and corporate finance and capital raising for real estate companies.
Job Description:
Eastdil Secured is seeking an Associate for its Atlanta office who has a proven background in Debt. This candidate wishes to continue a career in real estate investment banking. The position requires a clear understanding of commercial real estate, debt and equity structures, and cash flow projections.
Responsibilities:
- Create financial models using Excel for financial analysis of investment properties, debt transactions and other structure finance transactions
- Due diligence review and transaction execution
- Preparation of marketing packages, new business presentations.
- Provide general analytical support to the deal team.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of prior experience in commercial real estate, a substantial part of which will have been in commercial finance on the debt - loan side.
- Demonstrated strong financial modeling skills (including advanced knowledge of Excel).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent project management and teamwork abilities.
- The successful candidate will have strong quantitative and qualitative abilities, computer proficiency, excellent writing skills and strong time management abilities.
- Undergraduate degree is required.
