Associate Real Estate Finance & Lending recruitment
As of 30.03.2012, our client has more than EUR 1 Billion of non-recourse and limited course commercial real estate financings under management. The focus of this portfolio is on core/core+ commercial and residential real estate within Germany. Due to the increased deal flow in Germany, the team will be aiming to hire a new Portfolio Manager in the near future. Candidates are required to have a deep understanding, and a proven track record, of both financing and advisory transactions in Europe and should have a desire to work together with the financing acquisition managers.
Skills
• Support the Acquisition Manager with all aspects of the deal management (term sheet creation, client negotiations, legal documentation etc.)
• Ensure that all deal information is correct when considering assets for a platform, with appropriate options paper and supporting financial analysis
• To identify, promote and manage major exit opportunities for portfolios held in asset management platforms, whilst ensuring all risks and outcomes are considered in the best interests of the business
• Assist with monthly reporting and build and flex cash flows to demonstrate the performance of each connection and analyse projected returns
• Assist credit analysts with the analyzes of financial statements in order to identify and assess financial and non-financial risk
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate must have worked in real estate finance in Germany and have transaction experience in the industry
• Highly numerate and analytical with advanced financial modelling skills for appraising real estate opportunities
• Excellent report writing and power point presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
• Good experience in understanding and drafting complicated management agreements
