Eastdil Secured, a Wells Fargo subsidiary, is a real estate investment banking firm that provides its clients with transactional services focusing on the recapitalization of real estate assets. Eastdil Secured designs capital market strategies and structures for real estate owners and serves as an intermediary on their behalf. 

Eastdil Secured seeks an Associate in London to work as part of team focusing on high profile commercial real estate related transactions.

The company is a real estate investment bank specializing in institutional property sales, large property financings, sale of existing mortgages, hotel sales and financings, debt placement in the secondary market and corporate finance and capital raising for real estate companies.

Responsibilities

The position requires a clear understanding of commercial real estate, debt and equity structures, and cash flow projections. 

Responsibilities include

•  Creating financial models using Excel for financial analysis of investment properties,

•  Debt transactions and other structure finance transactions, assisting in preparation of marketing packages and new business presentations and providing general analytical support to the deal team.

Requirements

•  Ideally degree educated in Finance, Business, or related area, with real estate coursework and strong academic credentials. 

•  Good experience of Commercial Real Estate analytical work. 

•  Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and Argus valuation software. 

•  Excellent organizational, computer, written and verbal communication skills required.

•  Ability to establish and execute project timelines, ability to work as part of a team, and execute sound reasoning and judgment. 

•  Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, accustomed to fast-paced work environment, and skilled at initiation and follow-up.

•  Language proficiency in addition to English; particularly German; is preferred but not required.

•  Excellent computer, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
