This position is responsible for: Assistance with all aspects of in country finance, accounting taxaion functions
Key Competency Qualification Requirements:
Technical -
- Must be Degree Qualified
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience essential
- Sound accounting fundamentals
- Sound economic principles
- Some knowledge of tax preferable
- Some knowledge of Local Regulatory requirements preferable
- Basic knowledge of process principles and understanding of controls
Soft Skills -
- Strong interpersonal time management skills Effective Verbal Written Communication Ability to multi task
- Consistent Delivery Execution
- Highly motivated, self starting, hands on flexible
- Strong sense of team work
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Years of experience guideline: 1 to 2 years
Position Accountabilities/Duties:
- In Country book keeping and Accounting in ACCPAC and GENEVA
- Dally Bank Reconciliations, Cash Projections input into Geneva
- Handling reconciling Petty Cash.
- Administering the Invoice approvals process for Funds/ Management Company
- Allocation of expenses Fund wise
- Preparation of Payment Vouchers/Wires liaison with the banks
- Preparation of draft GST and/or WHT Returns
- Assistance/ Preparation of monthly accounts
- Assistance with the Statutory regulatory Audits
- Assistance/ Preparation of the annual income tax returns
- Any other jobs that may arise from time to time
