You will work as part of a project team to deliver customized solutions to senior executives (typically chief risk officers or chief financial officers) at client organizations. During a typical advisory engagement, you will assess the client's issues and concerns, conduct analyses to develop and support recommendations, provide advice, share expertise, and coach clients on implementing your recommendations.

The position requires an understanding of debt instruments, lending and underwriting practices, and credit risk measurement. Associates should also demonstrate an understanding of the current issues and challenges that face clients (e.g. Basel II and III, adoption of Dodd-Frank) while also possessing a high level understanding of the ideas, research, and products developed within Moody's Analytics.

Qualified applicants should have prior experience in the valuation of complex debt instruments in the context of a banking, asset management, or insurance environment. They should also enjoy interacting with clients, sharing knowledge, and contributing in a team environment. Qualified applicants should also be comfortable working in a close-knit, highly entrepreneurial environment. Over time, successful Associates can move into more advanced roles such as Engagement Manager (with responsibility for leading larger teams and projects) or Principal (with responsibility for business development and client relationship management).
