ASSOCIATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER recruitment

BNPP IP offers a diverse range of investment management strategies to institutional clients in the U.S. through our affiliates, including BNP Paribas Asset Management and Fischer Francis Trees Watts. Our clients include central banks, official institutions, corporations, pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments, and mutual funds. In the U.S. we have offices in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey and New York. We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Relationship Manager, Central Banks and Official Institutions in our New York office. Individual will join the team responsible for Central Bank and Official Institution client base. Candidate will be responsible for supporting proactive communication, responding to inquiries, determining what issues to escalate and coordinating among multiple groups, including, Operations and Investments to insure that all client expectations are met.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide support in client servicing responsibilities with goal to become key day to day contact. 

• Provide support for Central Bank/Official Institution/SWF and Latin American Business Development.

• Develop/prepare investment proposals for clients and prospects.

• Oversee client take-on and shut down procedures.

• Review client portfolios for strategy and guideline compliance.

• Serve as backup for client and prospect enquiries for Central Bank accounts.

• Coordinate with other business areas to address client queries.

• Provide support in working with BNPP network on firm related matters.

• Provide support in preparation, running and hosting of all client training seminars (Central Bank and other).

Academic Background and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA of 3.5 or the equivalent. MBA or CFA a strong plus.

• Minimum of two years’ experience with an asset management firm with solid knowledge of investment management industry.

• Good understanding of investments, benchmarks and guidelines.

• Experience in servicing clients and some sales.

• Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
