Associate – Renewables – Infrastructure Fund recruitment

DIF is an independent dedicated fund management company offering investors access to portfolios of infrastructure and renewable energy assets. DIF was formed in 2005, with the launch of its first fund and currently manages three funds. The funds target investments in PPP/PFI and renewable energy projects. As at 31 December 2011, DIF has invested c. €700 million across the three funds, in 97 assets in the more established markets of Europe, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands.

DIF has a team of 29 investment professionals and has offices in the Netherlands, France, UK and Germany.
 

Based in Frankfurt, reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the successful candidate will have prior experience gained whilst working within an equity fund, or within a renewable energy team of a financial advisor.

He/she will be expected to get involved in all aspects of managing DIF’s assets in Germany and Europe, especially the financial and technical reporting, contractual administration and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will require:

• Specific experience of renewable energy as an investor or financial advisor.

• Sufficient experience to be able to interact with authorities, sub-contractors and lenders.

• An ability to work flexibly in a small team in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent modelling, analytical and communication skills.

• Fluent German and fluent English language skills. Ability to work in other European languages would be an advantage.

• University degree.

• More than three years experience.

• Willingness to travel.
