Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Associate Sales Representative, located Greenville, SC territory.

Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology.

The primary objective of the Associate Sales Representative (ASR) is to aid in the expansion of the sales of Ethicon Endo-Surgery products and convert competitive products in a manner commensurate with company policy and sales direction. The ASR will initially work with experienced Sales Representatives in their territory focusing on the expansion of Ethicon Endo-Surgery's full line of surgical products and will convert competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with company policy and sales direction. After a training period of up to one year, the ASR will be asked to relocate into an open sales territory and take on a full Sales Representative role.

In this role, the Associate Sales Representative will be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to clinicians in an operating room setting. This position requires the ability to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology. Additionally, you will be expected to execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and which leads the customer to action.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree. The ability to travel as necessary, depending on geography (potentially overnight and/or weekends) and willingness to relocate nationally within the first year of employment is required. Two years of outside selling experience is preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver's license in one of the 50 states and clean driving record, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates with documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan), the ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan and the ability to collaborate with other JJ associates (peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers), external companies (distributor reps) and KOLs, is preferred. Self-starters with strong time management and planning skills are also a plus.
