Associate Scientist - Cell Biologist 6 Month Temporary Assignment La Jolla / San Diego CA Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking a skills Cell Biologist - Associate Scientist for a position with a dynamic pharmaceutical company in the La Jolla / San Diego area. 1 Cell culture and functional assay in cells survival, apoptosis, cpd screen 2 Molecular biology: especially target validation using siRNA, shRNA, lent-viral transfection; Taqman, Q-RT-PCR 3 Western blot, immunoprecipitation Description: Environmental monitoring of Grade C and D manufacturing areas, reading plates, identification of unknown microorganisms, kinetic endotoxin validation and testing, water sampling and testing, and general support for the laboratory. Good lab safety awareness and a good foundation in microbiological testing. Experience of working within a GMP framework with particular regard to manufacturing environments. Skills: 7+ years of experience in: Advanced Analytical Techniques; Advanced Antibody Library Construction; Advanced Antibody Selection Characterization, Cell/ Tissue Culture 4-7 Years of experience in : Advanced Biochemical Techniques; Advanced General Laboratory Protein Chemistry Skills; Advanced Immunoassays RIA, ELISA; Advanced Immunohistochemical Techniques; Advanced Micro-Pipeting
