Associate / Senior Associate – Operations recruitment
Key responsibilities:
- Performing daily reconciliations of securities nostros cash accounts
- Timely and accurate processing of all trades onto internal external systems
- Agreeing trade details reported by trading desks with confirmations
- Ensuring cash and securities instructions are timely processed transmitted to custodians
- Preparation and sending of trade confirmations to the counterparties
- Client reporting including trade confirmations, monthly statements
- Allocation and processing of corporation actions
- Liaising with traders, counterparties and custodians to ensure matching and settlement of trades
- Investigate and resolve of failed unmatched trades and trade discrepancies.
- Maintenance of all static settlement data in the system, including client, counterparty and security data
- Daily regulatory and transaction reporting to FSA
- Applying the client account opening procedures in liaison with the Sales and Compliance Departments
Skills, Experience and Qualification
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject preferably in accounting
• Securities Institute – IAQ Qualification or equivalent is desirable
• Knowledge of financial products
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial services is preferred
• Highly motivated and ability to communicate at all levels
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and intermediate level of Excel is required
• Knowledge of Misys Opics Plus / Clearstream or similar system
• Fluent Turkish would be a plus
