The role at Associate / Senior Associate level has the following main responsibilities:
1. Providing marketing support - support the Vice President, Securitisation origination in marketing/origination of securitisation products to the corporate banking /EMEA branch clients and the client base. This aspect of the role includes undertaking detailed company and sector (asset class) research, producing marketing material (presentations/pitch books) for client and internal presentations, co-ordination of external internal marketing meetings. In addition, maintaining and enhancing:
- Client marketing databases
- Client marketing filing system
- Marketing plan/diary
- Marketing presentation library
2. Providing structuring support - when required support the Structuring Unit in executing securitisation transactions including cash flow modelling and analysis, producing credit reviews and monitoring reports, reviewing documentation and liaison with the client, external and internal counterparties.
3. Provide support to assist the team in general administration/business management tasks including when necessary (i) liaison with other departments including credit, global Securitisation team, and Corporate Banking Divisions and branch offices in EMEA (ii) assisting with the development of securitisation knowledge of Securitisation team members and other staff.
Requirements
Core responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Vice President, Securitisation (origination) in the origination of client securitisation transactions
- Undertaking detailed company and sector (asset class) research
- Provide support to the Securitisation Structuring team in the execution of client securitisation transactions
- Provide support to assist the team in general planning tasks
You will meet the following criteria:
- Education (Essential): Degree (Bachelor)
- Work Experience (Essential): Experience within either Corporate Risk/ Banking, Credit Analysis or a support role within Relationship Management
- Work Experience (Preferred): Experience in a research / credit research role would be advantageous
- Functional/Technical Competencies (Essential): Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Functional/Technical Competencies (Preferred): Ability to develop cash flow models advantageous but not essential
- Language skills – fluency in German, French or Russian advantageous but not essential
- Behavioural Competencies (Preferred): Works well in a team/ pro-active attitude
