Purpose of the Role:

Provide trade support functions for securities trades (structured derivatives products, bonds, equities, funds), post-trade events and corporate actions. 

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provide day to day support to Private Banking on matters relating to securities trades (structured derivatives products, bonds, equities, funds), post-trade events support and corporate actions.

• Perform a liaison role to bridge between Zurich office or counterparty and Private Bankers to help facilitate good order processing of securities trades, post-trade events support, corporate actions and free of payment transfers.

• Contact negotiate with regional custodians 3rd party fund houses if necessary to help expedite on the investigations and resolution of operational issues.

• A technical expert in area of structured derivatives products processing and provide expertise advice to team members / Zurich Operations on the resolution of issues.

• Keep abreast of new changes, new products and practices in various markets and be able to coach and guide team members.

• Provide back up for staff in the team and for other operational duties.

• Actively involve in the day to day processes to resolve workflow issues and/or problems solving relating to securities, post-trade events and corporate actions.

• Communicate with Private Banking, Zurich Operations and relevant third parties to assist in executing complex or special transactions.

• Assist Line Manager in the implementation and writing of policies and procedures.

• Update procedural manuals and provide training to ensure Private Bankers are updated on the new/changes in process flow that impact on their client service delivery

• Development, Implementation, co-ordination and ongoing enhancement of new/existing products. 

The Successful Candidate will have:

• At least more than 5 years of experience in trade support for securities (structured derivatives products, bonds, equities, funds), post-trade events and corporate actions.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Good communicator and team player

• Possess excellent problem-solving skills

• Fully knowledgeable of securities products and market procedures/practices. A technical expert in this area of work

• Able to work well under pressure

• Ability to deal with staff at all levels of the organisation.

• Strong PC literacy (MS Office, Spreadsheet and other PC applications).
