RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in development and design of new software products; assists in maintenance and support of existing software products; Model software requirements, Design effective User Interfaces Produce documentation for software design, development, and testing Design direction, functional requirements, etc., are typically determined by lead or manager Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in computer programming or information technology with a GPA of at least 3.5+ or equivalent experience Proficiency with J2EE platform and Java application development lifecycle. Ideally proficient to MVC pattern, Oracle ADF, Oracle database programming including database design, Oracle's SQL and PL/SQL Ability to effectively communicate and interact with user representatives and peers in design and feedback sessions Exposure in requirement gathering and documentation Approach tasks with analytical perspective; ability to meet multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities MICROS enjoys being an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
