Associate, Strategic Client Advisory recruitment

This strategic advisory group of a leading major bank works to deliver strategic capital advice and insights to the bank’s priority high profile clients in collaboration with client coverage teams.  This team operates as the bank’s centre of excellence for strategic funding/capital markets ideas, capital management, balance sheet optimisation, high level ratings and risk management advisory expertise. 

This team plays a key role in driving strategic engagement and advice-led new business origination with Priority Clients and other clients targeted for lead relationship status; in accordance with the bank’s goal of being the #1 Lead Relationship Bank in the Australian market. Senior members of the strategic advisory team play a key role in driving strategic engagement with the bank’s clients at senior management levels (CFOs/CEOs), deepening the bank’s knowledge and understanding of clients’ objectives, and positioning the bank to pro-actively deliver the breadth of the bank’s Total Capital Solutions capability and offering multi-product solution opportunities.

Due to growth and increasing deal flow, they are now seeking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate to work closely with the senior members of the team in working up client ideas, solutions and presentations.  

This role will suit candidates with 2-4 years of experience in MA or corporate advisory from a leading investment bank or corporate advisory house. You will have well developed analysis and financial modelling skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
