Associate Structured and Project Finance
Have you been working in the structured or project finance team of a bank or adivisor for the past 3-5 years? Do you have some exposure to mining transactions?
Our client is a leading investment bank with a very strong commitment to the natural resources sector globally, it is represented in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Through its continued growth the opportunity has arisen for a person to join the team at the associate level, reporting to the head of Mining for Australia. The organisation is leader in innovative solutions providing advice and financing to mining projects in the region, the team has a track record in non- recourse financing, corporate loans, provision of complex hedging facilities and development of convertible bonds . It works in close association with many of parts of the bank to provide all types of financial products and advice to the Australian mining sector. If you would like to be part of a team that always tries to find a solution, this firm will suit you. Commodities are a key product for this organisation and it has its own commodities research staff across the globe, its commitment to the sector is solid.
To be a strong candidate for the role you should be able to offer the following:
- a track record in financial modelling and analysis ideally covering mining or oil and gas.
- exposure to corporate credit analysis
- experience of legal documentation
- undertanding of mining projects and global commodity markets and hedging
