Associate, Valuation Services - Risk Management

Provide the ongoing modeling and pricing of mortgage and real estate holdings incorporating property specific assumptions including rental rates, leasing rates, tenant expenses and projected income and expense growth rates. Review third party prices to determine reasonableness and challenge assumptions with supporting market data resulting in updated vendor pricing. Develop models and pricing recommendations for statutory or GAAP credit losses. Responsible for deriving quarterly fair market pricing for REA debt and debt investments. Generate and analyze quarterly cash flow projections for General Account Real Estate holdings. Develop and maintain pricing models for available for sale holdings requiring mark-to-market adjustments. Prepare and deliver portfolio and market level presentations, as needed, for Senior Management, Trustees, Rating Agencies, and Regulators. Provide end-of-day support for the pricing of holdings in the mark-to-market accounts. Develop and maintain processes and procedures that incorporate the required level of controls, while delivering well supported valuations and credit losses as required for the respective accounts.
