The Associate Vendor Manager position offers an exciting introduction to our on-line retail business and a broad training ground for future success. This role will work directly with multiple internal teams, vendors, partners and management. The Associate Vendor Manager will develop skills and work across all three functional areas (Vendor Management, In-stock and Site Merchandising) to grow and improve their vendor's success at Amazon. The Associate Vendor Manager will be responsible for the following: Scheduling, updating, and producing content on Amazon.com's product detail pages and genre pages, including numerous cataloging and editing tasks Conducting pricing and ROI analysis and making recommendations for initiatives that optimize profit margin Helping with numerous marketing and email efforts, scheduling product lists, analyzing site promotionsrsquo; performance and making recommendations on marketing plans Proactively negotiating promotional opportunities for the vendor mdash; autonomously The Associate Vendor Manager works directly with a single key vendor and at the end of the day, your contributions will have a major impact on the vendorrsquo;s success on Amazon. Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams and management Basic Qualifications Bachelorrsquo;s degree 1+ years experience in marketing or e-commerce merchandising MS Office Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and communicator, superior multi-tasker, great at meeting multiple deadlines, proficient in analytical thinking and comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, PowerPoint, Excel and Access). This position also requires excellent presentation, organization, and account management skills. Experience in marketing or e-commerce merchandising is essential to your success. Some background in retail or business analytics is preferred. BA/BS degree required.
