Well respected and established market research firm is seeking an independent, self starter to establish a larger presence for this company in the Southern Alberta market. This individual will be expected to source additional business from a large client base made up of public and private sector users. In addition, there will be a need to develop new business and to compete regularly for bid business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage projects for key clients, with responsibility for timely coordination and management of all phases
- Design questionnaires, sample selection, management of field personnel, collection and analysis of data.
- Manage, build and mentor a team of researchers
- Ensure activities are conducted on time and on budget
- Provide leadership to junior researchers with quality control and adherence to time tables
- Meet with existing and new clients regularly to sell services and present results
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be able to work independently and to develop the business with minimal supervision
- MINIMUM of 7 years of market research experience with experience managing and mentoring a team of researchers
- Experience writing proposals and presenting to clients at a senior level
- Understanding of budgetary process, financial data and sales cycles
- Management of a branch PL budget
- Must possess a high level of quality in writing and analytic thinking
- Minimum Bachelor level degree
