Associate Vice President, Financial Accountant recruitment

MAIN DUTIES / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Compiling financial information by department, recording and posting costs accurately;
  2. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations;
  3. Perform monthly close process, including all closing journals and review for any adjustments required;
  4. Performing all the accounting entries required, including accurate reporting of costs;
  5. Assist in preparation of the monthly reporting pack, performing any analysis required;
  6. Assist in the preparation of the lead schedules for year-end audit, and preparing first draft accounts;
  7. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns;
  8. Preparation of ad hoc committee reporting packs;
  9. Compiling cashflows from bank statements and updating accordingly actuals against budget;
  10. Updating the actuals to budget spreadsheet and highlighting any major discrepancies;
  11. Process all expenses monthly highlighting any exceptions;
  12. Assisting with ad hoc financial reporting requirements / projects.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES

Provide cover for other finance team deliverables where necessary.
