Associate / Vice President - Strategy Research, Fixed Income Trading, London
A global investment bank is looking to hire a strategy analyst to analyse European interest rate and government bond markets and identify investment and trading opportunities.
You will contribute to daily, weekly and monthly strategy reports as well as support risk takers, sales colleagues and institutional clients. You will assist in improving analytical tools for bond market strategy and trading and analyse and forecast bond issuance by governments and agencies. Reporting into the Chief Economist, you will support in the production of written reports.
In order to qualify for this role, you must have the following:
- Min MSc in Economics or Finance
- Experience in fixed income strategy / portfolio management
- In-depth knowledge of interest rate derivatives
- Experience in econometric and statistical analysis of yield curves and relative value
- Knowledgeable on the European and French economies
- Fluent in French
