Associate / VP - Global Real Estate - Fund / Asset Management - Real Estate - Our Client is a successful global real estate investment management fund who have an established platform and capital and specialise in the core areas of value-creation, distressed / restructuring opportunities and complex situations across a diverse range of asset classes in several geographic areas. Their European operation is seeking to expand its headcount and seeks to appoint an Associate / VP level real estate professionals.
The Role:- Is for a multilingual (German / English preferred) European Real Estate Associate / VP; depending on your level of aptitude / experience you will join and be part of deal teams focussing on single asset, pan-European real estate deals / acquisitions and will:
- Source and originate deals, either as lead or in a supporting capacity.
- Attend and present at investor meetings.
- Conduct financial viability and analysis for potential acquisitions / investments.
- Conduct necessary and detailed due diligence.
- Underwrite deals.
- Harvest existing assets and future acquisitions.
- Travel frequently across continental Europe.
The Person: You will ideally come from a principal background (investment banking, private equity or fund / asset management) and have strong quantitative and analytical roots in European real estate and have previous exposure to interfacing and reporting to investors. You will be driven, commercial and adaptable and seeking a career move to an autonomous environment where both responsibility and execution are key to success. You will speak English and German fluently as a minimum and possess a strong academic background.
