Associate / VP - Oil Gas Coverage - Global Private Equity Firm - Singapore Hong Kong
Selby Jennings is working with a US Based, Global Top 100 Private Equity with presence in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific - Singapore, China and Singapore to helping strengthening their Hong Kong and Singapore presence with this hire.
We are currently looking for an Associate or VP level hire for their direct investments coverage for the Oil and Gas sector in Asia Pacific and Globally. The team intends to hire local, Asian talent to do this as they are looking for very effective deal execution professionals to work on the ground for the firm.
Requirements for Associate / VP - Oil Gas Coverage - Global Private Equity Firm - Singapore Hong Kong:
Associate Oil Gas Requirement:
- At least 3 years of Investment Banking experience either from Leverage Finance / Execution / MA teams
- Transaction history in Oil Gas is key
- Tier 1 Education will serve advantageous
- Local Talent - for Singapore - preference for Southeast Asian backgrounds; for Hong Kong - Chinese or Hong Kong talent with Mandarin speaking skills. This is primarily to service due diligence purposes
VP - Vice President Oil Gas Requirement:
- At least 6 years of Investment Banking or Private Equity experience
- Origination capabilities in the Sector is very important
- Candidates with Global or Asia Pacific experience and deal origination capabilities will serve as an advantage
- Good team management
- Ability to work under pressure
- Local Talent is again key to generate the desired client base
