Associate/AVP – Compliance – Singapore recruitment
Primary responsibilities include:
- Advising on and managing a broad spectrum of regulatory compliance issues (e.g., market conduct, proper handling of material non-public information, regulatory reporting) and ethical conduct issues
- Reviewing compliance policies procedures to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, making recommendations and implementing changes to mitigate these risks
- Working with the Compliance team to track industry best practices and regulatory changes
- Conduct compliance training
Requirements:
- You must have a good working knowledge of the financial services industry. The role requires one to collaborate with other departments in addressing and resolving compliance issues.
- To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communications skills and the ability to work well with a broad spectrum of people. Above all, you are able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- You should preferably be a LLB graduate with strong academic results and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Those holding other degrees and with strong relevant experience in regulatory compliance will also be considered.
