Associate/Vice President, DCM Origination recruitment
This global Investment Bank has an impressive platform in the Pan Asia region as well as across Europe and the US. Their DCM team is focussed on taking Australian / NZ FI issuers to international markets has strong established FI relationships, impressive deal flow and continues to be ranked at the top of the league tables.
They are now seeking a talented banker to join this established team, and assist in the structuring and execution of debt capital markets transactions. You will assist in managing client relationships with the head of team and be responsible for transactions as appropriate. Part of this role also includes working closely with the local banking and markets teams and communicating with the syndicate desks in overseas offices.
You will ideally have the following attributes and experience:
• Minimum 3-6 years transactional experience in DCM (FI) / Bond Syndicate / Hybrid Capital Markets or FIG Investment Banking (with exposure to DCM products);
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships within the FI’s space;
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with syndicate desks in all relevant markets;
• Demonstrate initiative, be self-motivated and ‘driven’ to achieve strong results.
