Associate/VP – EMEA Product & Platform Management: New Business Development – J.P. Morgan, London/Geneva recruitment

Overview

The EMEA Investment Product Platform Management Group works in conjunction with Business Management and Asset Class Leaders to develop and deliver products processes for use in the Private Bank (PB), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and its other distribution channels. The group is typically involved from strategy and project definition through project delivery and implementation. 

Role Outline

The Associate, New Business Development, will be responsible for spear-heading projects focused on building onshore Private Banking capabilities in targeted locations within EMEA. This may involve preparing the necessary documentation for regulatory filings, coordinating the Operating Model with cross-functional teams and executing that model through post-implementation. In addition, the Associate will support broader team initiatives across Pricing Strategy in EMEA.      

Key responsibilities include:

• Create road map and strategy for new initiatives taking into consideration PB business model

• Develop and lead project plans though strategy development, project definition, and implementation

• Prepare and deliver updates for senior management

• Partner with Legal, Compliance Risk to identify and address areas of risk regulatory exposure across projects

• Assess and understand detailed front office and back office procedures in order to identify appropriate operating models to implement

• Coordinate initiatives across regions to bring consistency between the US, EMEA, Asia and Latam

• Partner with the following teams to drive strategy definition and implementation:

Legal Compliance, Risk Management, Marketing, Technology Operations, Finance, Sales Management Tax

Qualifications

• Solid project management skills within the Investments business

• Ability to partner with people across various levels of the organisation and build strong relationships

• Strong Microsoft Excel, Project PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of Visio and SharePoint.

• Experience in process flow analysis/mapping

• Understanding of the JPMorgan Asset Management organisation, specifically the three businesses underneath Wealth Management
