Responsibilities
The Associate Director, Financial Planning Analysis will lead a team of 4 people, one planning analyst and three operations specialists. This position will be responsible for preparing sales and revenue forecasts including monthly forecasting, 3 year business plan development and annual budget as well as monitoring and analyzing performance to plan, communicating results to management, and disseminating timely and relevant financial data to support decision making for the Enterprise Risk Solutions (ERS) division. Collaboration with Sales and Finance departments will be required in order to produce accurate and timely information. The Associate Director will also be responsible for implementing a revenue model that creates standardization of the forecasting process within the division and adheres to MA wide practices. In addition he/she will develop efficient and consistent workflow for the operations team, to ensure accurate/timely billing and revenue recognition and develop a framework to support operational forecasting for the Implementation Services business. The right candidate will deliver insightful and value added business analyses and will introduce processes and tools to facilitate a highly efficient and effective planning process. This role will have significant exposure to senior managers, therefore strong communications skills are imperative. The ideal candidate must also be self-assured, self-directed, and driven by details and deadlines.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus.
-Minimum 7+ years financial planning and analysis, minimum 3 years management experience
-Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
-Strong analytical and financial analysis skills with passion for details and "digging in"
-Ability to work efficiently with all team members serving various functions at various levels.
-Previous experience using enterprise-wide financial planning systems
-Experience with US GAAP Software Recognition rules a plus
-Excel expert, strong PowerPoint and proficient in full MS Office Suite
-Occasional travel required
