Position Description:

The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees. We have a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Currency Room Supervisor.

Job Summary:
The Assistant Currency Room Supervisor ensures accountability and security of all funds. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate currency vault records, handle customer deposit inquiries, perform research on disputed transactions and be responsible for the daily balance of currency teller line
• Manage daily currency room operations which may include deposit verification, change order preparation, currency/coin inventory management
• Monitor workflows and adjust staffing needs and maintenance schedules as needed to ensure quality levels of service and performance in conjunction with the Operations Manager
• Monitor employees’ productivity to ensure productivity goals are met
• Train new and existing currency room staff in all aspects of processing functions, policy and procedure execution and implementation of new processes.
• Report any operational deficiencies to management and other departments when applicable

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling or currency processing
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a production environment
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses
• Able to work weekends, holidays and/or extended hours
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cash handling experience within industry or banking
• Leadership experience in a cash processing environment
• Good basic math skills
• 10-key experience
