ATG eCommerce Architect
( 15 years industry experience and 6 years relevant experience)

Position Description
Ability to drive the ecommerce technology strategy and participate in technical analysis, design implementation.
In-depth knowledge of ATG frameworks, eCommerce Platform and tools ATG 9.1
Good communication skills, ability to communicate the detailed technology platform architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team

Responsibilities
Architect the ecommerce solution conduct technical evaluation of requirements
Drive the solution architecture and interact with customer architecture team
Leads large-scale business application design efforts in eCommerce, with a focus on ATG  implementations  
Independently interacts at the director-level in client organizations
Demonstrates expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies
Has a firm understanding of design methods and architectures
Assists the Project Manager in establishing team goals, objectives, and budget
Provides support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits
Conduct Internal trainings
Provide workaround and alternate solution for technology limitations

Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementation experiences as an Architect in ATG 7, ATG 9.1
Assist in the architecture and design of the eCommerce platform based on detailed requirements, wireframes and specifications
Advanced/Expert level in ATG Dynamo B2B Commerce, B2C Commerce Content Administration, and Merchandising
4+ yrs experience applying object oriented analysis and design practices
2+ yrs of Java/J2EE experience
2+ yrs experience developing, deploying and supporting web based applications
A strong understanding of eCommerce B-to-B and B-to-C concepts and solution experience
Hands on experience Knowledge of best practices in all areas of eCommerce including Catalog Management, Product Merchandising, Inventory Availability, Shopping Cart and Checkout, Order Management, Search and Guided Navigation, SEO, Personalization, Gift Registry, Customer Service
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Demonstrates strong problem solving and effective decision-making skills
Provides technical architecture thought leadership to client and organization

Desired Knowledge
J2EE, Servlet, JSP, XML/XSLT, SQL and Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Operating System Configuration (Solaris/AIX/Win2K)
Application Servers (Weblogic/WebSphere)
Web 2.0 technologies
Commerce Component Packages (tax processing, payment processing, etc)
Integration Technologies (Fusion, XML, Tibco, Webmethods etc.)
Knowledge on Stibo, Fredhopper SAP
