Working as an Athletic Training Coordinator in the Burlington, WI area. Imagine yourself working with a multidisciplinary team consisting of medical professionals and office staff. Imagine working with a team that is the perfect size to provide the resources and support that you need, while giving you the ability to build relationships with schools and develop our Athletic Training programs. Your job duties will consist of approximately 30% administrative duties and the remaining 70% of your time will be spent in providing direct sports medicine services in a high school setting. These services would include coverage of sporting events and training room coverage, injury assessment and prevention as well as program development and performance enhancement. Imagine. . . * Coordinating Licensed Athletic Trainers (LAT) school contracts and program planning, including communication with athletic directors and fee structuring and negotiation. * Coordinating LAT / Physical Therapist coverage of schools, camps, tournaments, and events * Increasing awareness within the sports community by building relationships, developing new business, expanding programs and generating revenue through referrals and patient visits. * Assisting with the recruitment of athletic trainers, staff development and providing feedback for athletic trainer performance reviews. * Providing on site observation and obtaining feedback regarding LAT performance at outreach contracts and making recommendations regarding performance or contract modifications. * Reviewing, updating and organizes LAT school documentation, ATOP policy and procedure manual, referral performance, and physician contacts.
