ATM Technician
Bancsource is the largest independent bank equipment sales and service company in the US. We currently have relationships with over 3000 financial institutions including 17 of the 20 largest ones. We are looking for an independent, confident, aggressive, self starter that can work in a company with minimal supervision that is willing to be available to work off hours as the business dictates. We are currently hiring an ATM/Conventional Equipment Field Service Engineer for Virginia Beach, VA.
Summary Plans and coordinates activities concerned with installing equipment, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminating future operational or service difficulties by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following duties, but not limited to:
· To perform onsite emergency preventive maintenance on equipment within an assigned area.
· Work with and escalate any issues to our Management/Support/Parts team to expedite the resolution of any equipment or customer issues.
· Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
· Repair, adjust and calibrate Multivendor product line.
· Check voicemail/Email throughout the workday to retrieve any messages.
· Maintain contact with customers. Call all customers with pending service calls to inform them of your status and to give them an estimated time of arrival (eta). This call must be made within the guidelines of the Field Operating Procedures manual regarding Mission Critical/Non-Mission Critical calls. Call customer before any scheduled eta is missed to reschedule your eta.
· Prioritize and schedule all service calls assigned to you. Maintain zero past due preventative maintenance calls.
· Respond to all calls within response time criteria described in the Field Operating Procedures manual.
· Report any customer situations that are viewed as less than satisfactory, whether implied through customer comment or action to your Management team.
· Provide the Call Center with accurate and complete information when completing a service call. Close/update calls on site immediately after repair and before going on to the next call. Inform your Manager of the reason for any call staying open for more than 24 hours.
· Insure proper maintenance and cleaning of company vehicle.
· Maintain sufficient parts inventory and submit biannual inventory reports. Inventory variance is not to exceed 5% of the inventory value as indicated on the Techs Only website.
· Keep accurate and timely records (i.e. expense reports, time sheets, service reports, installation reports, etc.)
· Provide technical support for other employees in the region when available.
· Provide feedback to Tech Support team on resolution to problem after requesting support.
· Provide coverage for vacations, sick days and standby coverage in other territories.
· Provide sales leads to help grow your area and assist customer as needed.
· Adhere to escalation procedures as outlined in the Field Operating Procedures manual.
Computer Skills
Ability to use a PC. This includes Microsoft office applications. Need to have basic understanding of network protocols. ATM, conventional, and sorter experience strongly preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current valid driver’s license. Prefer A+ certification.
Other Qualifications
Must be willing to travel, be on-call for after hour’s service, and work overtime when needed.
