Has overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the Professional Services Consultant and Sr. Consultants. Manages a coordinated team of consulting resources within a region or technical discipline. Develops project plans, including design strategies and selecting of team members (which may include third party consultants). Manages program activities (i.e., client relationships, efficient delivery of services, and quality of services). Assists in practice development, proposal development, including work steps and related cost estimates. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors. Assigned team billable revenue objective. Seasoned in-depth knowledge of functional/process area; considered subject matter expert. Job requires organizational and technical knowledge sufficient to resolve complex problems. Provides first level management to exempt individual contributors. Typically reports to a General Management Level. Prefers a BS/BA and typically has 5-7 years of directly related experience. CCIE (Written Lab) OR equivalent in Consulting Manager's area of expertise. Preferred Certifications: Professional License based on trade by education.
