Ability to troubleshoot and optimize as well as provide analysis reports to all levels of management in many different formats i.e. interacting with high level Ericsson contractors as well as Executive level ATT management; providing complex reports and statistical analysis. Highly advanced RAN Engineer recognized as a SME with knowledge of RAN Engineering and most advanced problem resolution. . Candidates will be responsible for the performance of large geographical areas but not specific to clusters as well as training/mentoring junior engineers; developing them to be more self sufficient. He/she may also manage projects and matrix-managed teams across cross-functional teams including RF engineering, Labs, Operations, Finance, and Marketing. This person must be experienced in voice and data performance optimization with particular proficiency in the UMTS/LTE Network on the Ericsson Platform. This may require frequent presentations to large groups and senior executive leadership. Candidate must have knowledge of UMTS/LTE Air interface and eRAN procedures, functionalities and algorithms. Need quick learner to pick up LTE eRAN, without any downtime in deliverables on LTE: Candidate must be able to produce technical justification for capital expenditures, and produce designs on a Zone, District, and Market basis. Intermediate skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MapInfo and Project. Knowledge of ATOLL, ACP is required.
