Attorneys, Contracts – Confidentiality Agreements / SLA’s (Temp) recruitment
1) Confidentiality Agreements:
Prepare, negotiate and bring to execution confidentiality agreements on behalf of the bank debt trading desk for the receipt of confidential information in connection with various financial products including bank debt, trade claims and private notes.
Apply institutional policies regarding confidentiality agreements to contract negotiations.
Liaise with business to accurately reflect in agreements any necessary business terms.
Identify and bring to the attention of attorneys and the business situations requiring their advice/guidance in the course of drafting and negotiating.
Actively foster positive client relationships while protecting the firm.
Requirements
5+ years experience as an attorney at a law firm, with experience in contract drafting, interpretation, and negotiation.
2) Service Level Agreements:
Assist internal project by preparing and bringing to execution amendments and terminations for existing inventory of service level agreements involving various entities. Agreements include multiple front-to-back servicing operations to document affiliate services being provided at an arms-length basis.
Help develop internal database to properly store the existing and future inventory of the agreements.
Liaise with back, middle and front office support to confirm whether amendments and terminations of existing agreements are necessary.
Identify and bring to the attention of the Support departments and attorneys, situations requiring their advice/guidance in the course of amending and terminating the agreements.
Understand the organizational structure of business entities. Prioritize workflow based on regulatory deadlines and business requirements.
Requirements
Experience in contract drafting, with a background in corporate governance a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 4+ years experience as an admitted attorney required. Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office applications).
