Service Delivery Manager / AV Service Architect
A newly created role to work with a major services provider in the IT and AV business are now hunting for a Service Delivery Manager / AV Service Architect to work within their services annuity business with a specific focus on Audio Visual infrastructure support and maintenance.
Main Duties:
- As directed by the Opportunity Review Board architect Audio Visual service solutions in response to customer requirements for all AV systems
- Provide audio visual solution detail including fully detailed costs utilising standard cost models
- Provide detailed responses to AV service and solution requirements as part of a formal tender process
- Contribute to building of new resilient and repeatable AV service models ensuring that any new information gained is fed back through change control
- Lead or participate in Due Diligence in order to validate architected audio visual solutions
- Provide a solution overview, including costs and services to the transition team prior to the commencement of transition and service take-on
- Work with the Customer Management, Service Delivery and Transition Teams to develop or enhance existing audio visual services based on market or customer knowledge / feedback
- In support of the sales structure, attend customer meetings in response to, or proactively introduce and develop audio visual service opportunities
- Active involvement in the bid process, developing relevant and pertinent proposal material for inclusion into customer proposals
- Any other relevant duties by Management
Skills, Knowledge Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT/AV Services Industry, at least 2 of which have involved the development of Managed Service Solutions with a focus on infrastructure, service and support management and support within or around Audio Visual service, support and infrastructure
- Experience of assisting sales personnel in the production of large bids and proposals for Managed Service Solutions
- Excellent understanding of service methodologies and approaches; preferably with some previous operational management experience
- Understand the key commercial and operational drivers and interdependencies which are inherent within any complex service
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to deliver customer presentations to board level
- Strong commercial background including contract negotiation skills and demonstrable understanding of the costs associated with the provisions of board managed service solutions
- Comfortable with the manipulation of significant electronic documentation
- Good understanding of commercial model for Managed AV Service solution
- Ideally performed a similar function for a large managed service provider
