Audit, Accounts and Tax Senior
This job is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing independent accountancy firm with offices based in Edinburgh and Dunfermline. This job will be based in the Edinburgh office. It is the perfect opportunity to for an experience part qualified or newly qualified candidate who has experience gained within a practice setting.
You will have gained experience dealing with a variety of clients including: sole traders, limited companies and partnerships, and ideally you will have gained experience dealing directly with clients, as you will maintain your own portfolio of clients. Experience gained in audit, accounts and tax is essential as you will be leading audits from start to finish, this will include the pre audit, planing, time tabling, field work, reporting, financial analysis and presenting to clients senior management. Additionally, you will be reviewing the work of junior members of staff, finalising full sets of statutory accounts, reporting to UK GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and also be completing both corporate and personal tax computations.
The team is stable, friendly and willing to help new joiners. Each week is completely varied and the ideal candidate will be dynamic and very client focused. For the right candidate there will be career progression within the role.
