Audit / Accounts Manager
An excellent opportunity has become available for an Audit Accounts Manager to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds. The firm is a medium size practice and has a long history of being a highly reputable organisation and they have a diverse client base from SME’s up to large corporates. This is a great opportunity for someone who keen to make Partner level.
Reporting directly to the partners of this growing firm, the main responsibilities and duties will include managing a portfolio of small to medium size businesses (typically owner managed) where you will be focussed on audit and non-audit work using CCH software. Non audit duties will include accounts preparation, management accounts and corporation tax. In addition you will be overseeing a pool of junior staff and therefore will be acting as a mentor.
The ideal candidate will be an Audit / Accounts Manager either from a professional practice or from industry but with previous practice experience. As the successful candidate you will have a successful track record of managing a portfolio of audit clients with managerial responsibilities of junior staff. Candidates must be fully qualified ACA or ACCA (post 2 years minimum) and have a proven history of Audit managerial work previously.
