AUDIT AND ACCOUNTS SENIOR
Progressive opportunity suitable for an ACCA/ACA qualified and has several years’ client facing experience in a mixed audit and accounts role. You would be working along-side qualified accounts professionals as well as a great team of trainees well on their way towards qualification. The ethos of the firm is to provide a level of service that they would be impressed by if we were the client. This is no more or less important in any area of their practice but, arguably, the opportunity to succeed at this is greatest in this client facing audit and accounts senior role. Excellent communication skills are essential and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to head a team attending client premises on audit assignments, prepare notes on client systems and controls, contribute in client planning and finalisation meetings, prepare appropriate reports and letters for the client and, where relevant, parent companies and their auditors, take responsibility for a client portfolio involving year-end accounts preparation, management accounting and preparation of VAT returns.
