Audit Assistant Manager
My client, a Big 4 Firm of Chartered Accountant are looking for an excellent qualified auditor to join the audit practice within their Aberdeen office. You will pick up a portfolio of clients and will work within a cross functional office, alongside the firms advisory and tax functions.
Your duties will include, staffing Risk assessment Systems, controls and substantive testing (including audits of consolidations and statutory accounts) adhering to International Auditing Standards, budgeting and monitoring the financial performance of projects, focusing on optimising profitability, leading teams on the ground, reporting directly to the manager and partner, building relationships with the client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm and report writing for Audit Committees and management
You will be CA qualified or equivalent have strong IT literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS and have excellent interpersonal skills, a commercial focus, strong technical skills and a decision making ability.
