Audit Assistant Manager recruitment
Our client is a fast growing Investment Bank in the greater China
Audit Sr. Officer / AM – Investment Bank
Key responsibilities:
- Participate / Lead audits from planning through to reporting, ensuring appropriate audit coverage on, quality and timeliness of completion of each audit, with minimum supervision.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls relating to risks involved in the relevant business areas in accordance with Company Audit Methodology.
- Identify issues and provide practical solutions to stakeholders. Prepare audit report and validate closure of issues.
- Assist the Head of Audit in developing annual audit plan and performing risk assessments.
- Supervise junior staff assigned to the audit. Review their work to ensure quality and adequate audit coverage.
- Conduct any other necessary audits or works as instructed by Head of Internal Audit.
Job Requirements:
- A university degree and a professional accounting or audit qualification
- At least 3 years of external/internal audit experience within Investment Bank; in house experience is a plus
- Solid knowledge of auditing, investment banking (Equities business or Corporate Finance) and regulatory requirements are essential
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) are a MUST
