AUDIT & ASSURANCE MANAGER

Our client, a large Public Accounting practice, is looking for a new Audit and Assurance Manager for their Red Deer office.  This office is one of the largest in Red Deer and has a great reputation in the market. It's a fast paced role where your knowledge will be put to use on various client engagements. A positive, forward thinking individual who can multi- task will do well in this role!

More specifically your daily responsibilities will include the following:

-          Preparation of Management letters, Working Papers, and delivering financial statements

-          Oversee and Lead client Audits

-          Manage  and Develop internal staff

-          Work with Partners on Larger client files

-          Assist with difficult corporate and tax issues for clients

-          Work hand in hand with clients to assist with over all financial benefit

-          Network and bring in new clients to the firm

The chosen applicant will have the following qualifications;

-          Must come from a public practice of consulting background

-          Must have a CA designation  with 3-5 years post designation experience

-          Strong understanding of audit planning and accounting polices ( both public and private)

-          Previous management or supervisory experience is an asset

-          Excellent communication skills- ( written, verbal and presentation)

-          Ability to grow and develop with a willingness for self improvement

-          Detail orientated and  flexible with changing priorities
