Audit Delivery Manager – Project Assurance recruitment
Barclay Simpson are currently working with a leading financial services company who offer a range of products and have an enviable reputation within their markets.
An opportunity exists within this sizeable team whereby you will be required to deliver complex audits and manage the delivery of audits from end-to-end. Whilst you are part of a team, you will work as part of a pooled resource for the business giving you the opportunity to gain exposure across all areas; Life Pensions, Retail Investments, Investment Management, General Insurance, Other Financial Services, Group and Support functions, International and Environmental/Ethical. However, at this level most auditors will have developed a specialism and this role will require in-depth exposure to project management. Project assurance currently accounts for approximately 40% of the audit plan and you will be required to challenge the projects teams to assess the process, procedure, success and value of each project.
Applications are sought from project management professionals or internal auditors with good project assurance experience. You must have worked in a complex business dealing with sizeable projects. Financials services experience is preferred but this is not a pre-requisite.
You are expected to be a professionally qualified auditor (ACA, ACCA, CMIIA), project manager (Prince 2, PMI, APM) or both. You will be a first rate communicator able to quickly gain the respect of the business and colleagues.
