Audit Expert – Brussels – Belgian Company recruitment
My client is a well-established Belgian company with a wide variety of activities in the financial sector. They have shown their strength over the past years by growing and going through the crisis with ease compared to most of their competitors.
Assess risks and controls within the company on various business processes, IT systems, ect.
Regularly interact and communicate with business management to discuss and present audit results, gain acceptance and provide advice to remediate on audit issues.
Advise business stakeholders on control best business practices within their processes and recommendations to reduce risks and improve efficiency and financial profitability.
Share expertise and experience with the audit team and acts as a coach on specific projects.
1 to 4 years full time work experience in auditing (internal or external audit)
University Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or commercial engineering
Effective project management skills
Effective team player and able to work independently as well
Analytical skills and creative problem solving abilities
Ability to manage time and meet pre-established deadlines
Good written and oral communication skills (French and/or Dutch and English)
Strong affinity with IT in general
Certification in internal auditing (e.g. CIA, CISA) or willingness to take such a certification
